China is the world's most populous country in old age, due to the physical characteristics of the elderly, it is very urgent to enhance the capacity of medical care architecture to respond to the emergency events. As a new set of special architectural type medicine, the elderly care center includes treatment, cure and recuperation. It is still on the stage of probing and the function of it has a lot of flaw and shortages especially on disposing emergency health events.This paper analyses and studies on how enhance the abilities of the care center of elderly to deal with the emergence health events from the perspective of urban disaster prevention. Analyzing the characteristics of emergence health events, and the compositions and orientation of the function of the elderly care centers, the integration point of the elderly care center and the emergency health events are summed up. And this point can be seen as a design basis. It includes two aspects to study on how enhance the abilities to face emergency health events. One is the software and the other one is the hardware. Software research is studied on the strategies and the relevant international norms of the elderly care center to respond to the emergence health events. Based on the practical architecture cases and the standards about it at home or abroad, the paper proudly analyzes the medical function of the elderly care center and discusses the effect and function of it. In addition, the paper also considers some methods on spreading the social providing for the aged. In the site of the function, the form of fire station is been used and considered. On this form the scope of the services are more standard and unitized, and one balance and all-sided serve platform is established. In hardware, as architectural designs, considers the separation Kit polluter district mode which is usually used in hospital and hospital for infectious diseases into the design of the elderly care center. Based on the thoroughly separated the non-pollutions and polluters, the center can play a care treatment role and also can ensure the health and safety of the aged. In design, the site selections, plane function design and the outdoor space design must consider the emergency medical and health events. The above analysis and conclusions for the elderly care center are intended to propose a new point and a new design consideration. |
