As the increase of the requirement for comfortable environment, how to improve the thermal comfort of human body in indoor environment has become important in present study. Earlier studies suggest that it can get highest thermal comfort in stable, uniform air conditioning environment. With the development, researchers found that people only feel neither hot nor cold, but not comfort in stable condition. Plenty of examples show that local environment control can alleviate discomfort in warm or cool environment. Some researchers also found the non-uniform environment can enhance thermal comfort. Therefore new forms of air-conditioning which resulted non-uniform environment appeared.When it cannot reach comfortable in the background environment, local cooling or heating can improve human thermal comfort. But the temperature of local cooling or heating has certain limit. Out of the range, the climate control may not may not enhance the overall thermal comfort, but reduce. Through subjective survey and physiological parameters measurement, ranges of local temperature were studied when single body parts were thermally stimulated.At the room with temperature of 26℃, 28℃and 30℃, cooling air was sent to body parts: chest and back, while its temperature was ranging form 20 to 28℃. All of the subjects were required to vote overall thermal sensation and overall thermal comfort after thermal response became stable. During the test, the skin temperature was measured, in order to evaluate environment much better.In the experiment, the conclusions for environment evaluation that got from questionnaire and physical parameter measurement were consistent. In the environment of thermal comfort evaluation, applying of objective and objective method could get more precisely and correct results. In this thesis, the range of local temperature was obtained in slant warm environment when subjects felt comfort. In summer conditions, participants preferred to cool or neutral environment. The skin temperature was not constant, the range was given. The rule of how the partial thermal sensations increase overall thermal acceptance and the relationship between it and surrounding environment was disused. When people went to the cold or hot environment from the neutral condition, thermal sensation changes had a lag. The skin temperature change was related to the environmental temperature difference. The energy-saving capacity in non-uniform state was given; it also improved the thermal comfort satisfaction for the environment.
