Changchun is typically severe cold area, and it need be heating to keep environment temperature in buildings about 170 days annually. The coal-fired heating boiler is primary heating source in Changchun. This heating mode is not changed in short time. With heating area keeping on increasing, and the coal consumption keeping on increasing, and the pollution keeping on deteriorating, it cause huge economy stress and environment stress to Changchun. Through surveying 111 coal-fired heating boiler rooms and testing hourly 1 boiler room of circulating and managing better, at the same time, questionary surveying to 400 doors about indoor environment temperature in the range of boiler rooms of surveying, author analyses energy consumption and faults in coal-fired heating systems in Changchun at present.Using boiler room of circulating and managing better to be basic data together with correlative regulation of national and local energy conservation standard, it establishes regression curve of daily consuming standard coal quantity in unit heating area B against mean daily outdoor temperature T, and it finds primary energy saving evaluation models which are mean daily consuming standard coal quantity in unit heating area in the heating period and daily consuming standard coal quantity in unit heating area. Energy saving evaluation models can be primary evaluation methods and audit methods of whether coal-fired heating systems achieve energy saving standard. At the same time, it gives primary evaluation methods on electricity and water resource consumption in heating systems.Contrasting primary energy saving evaluation models with energy consumption situation, it analyses energy saving and pollution reduction potential. It gives faults in heating systems at present, and it gives solving measures and suggestions pertinently on energy saving.
