According to the development trend of rolling bearing industry,this paper designed and developed main parameter optimization CAD system and performance analysis system with deep groove ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearings for research object.The realization of two systems have great significance for improving the accuracy and quality of rolling bearing design,shortening the cycle time of design of manufacture,and promoting the development of rolling bearing industry.The development of main parameter optimization CAD system of rolling bearing is mainly related to the main parameter optimization technology, the secondary development of CAXASolid, database technology, 3D solid model and 2D engineering drawings output technology based on secondary development platform of CAXASolid,etc.ICAPI, which was the secondary development platform of CAXASolid,used method based on COM components and VC++ programming language to realize the system.The system consists of five modules:database module, optimization module, search module, standard design module and output module.The method to realize each major module was mentioned in the article:the bottom of the system was ACCESS database,which provides optimal data sheet,structural parameters data sheet,tolerance data tables,and calculation coefficient sheet of performance parameters for the top module to call,or to modify ,or to save the data.Bearing life is used to be the goal by Optimization module to establish mathematical modal,and the established mathematical modal is solved by SCCD method. standard design module uses optimization results as iuput,and calls the formula to solve all the structural parameters. Realization method of the output module is:3D part modal output is directly realized by the ICAPI commad,assembled modal output is realized by Coordinate transformation mechanism of ICAPI,2D engineering drawings output is realized by calling the drawing template.Performance analysis system is built base on the quasi-static mechanical analysis of rolling bearing,Its main function is to verify the optimization results or results obtained by other method.The system was also realized by deviding into several module: calculation module uses Newton-Raphson method to solve the quasi-static equation,database module is used to provide the necessary parameters to calculation and to store the results, output module uses Tecplot software to transform the simulation results into graph and to show the graph.
