Higher vocational education is experiencing a expansion in scale and content ,yet it is still confronted with the main contradictory between the quality of graduates and market demand .This contradictory stems from a variety of issues ,but the key cause is the general education curriculum currently in place that fails to adequately address the needs of students within higher vocational education which leads to low employment rates for graduates. This paper makes a study on the micro areas of higher education curriculum reform- mechanical drawing which is designed to project-based curriculum, relying on Qingdao Binhai vocational college and other bases for practice .It includes five chapters.Chapter one ,an introduction ,analyzes the problems existing in higher vocational education as well as their respective causes, advances the research thoughts and approaches based on the literature review .Chapter two provides an overview of the project-based curriculum and pays special attention to the meaning and development of technology .Chapter three elaborates on this paper's theoretical foundation from the perspective of the modern theories of courses, knowledge and learning .Chapter four is concerned with the construction of higher vocational mechanical drawing curriculum ,focusing on the construction of goals ,structure ,content and evolution. Chapter five explains the curriculum organization . It mainly elaborates on three aspects of establishing two-way mechanism for school-enterprise cooperation, projecting management to project-based curriculum and enhancing the quality of curriculum.These five chapters are further organized into three distinct layers .The first layer involves the theory of constructing the mechanical drawing curriculum ,specifically the basic connotation and theoretical basis .The second layer is concerned with construction level , analyzing the status of vocational mechanical drawing courses ,building Mechanical Drawing based on project-oriented curriculum reform relying on the empirical research of four vocational colleges .The third layer is the support level, discussing the organization of the curriculum reform .Together the three layers form a complete research framework that shares a strict logical relationship.Three primary questions are addressed in this paper .Firstly ,why is the reform of vocational courses based on project-oriented curriculum ?Secondly ,what is the theoretical basis of Mechanical Drawing based on project-oriented curriculum reform ?Thirdly ,how is the Mechanical Drawing curriculum of higher education constructed?...
