With the rapid development of China's social economy, people's living standard has increased continuously, while the urban transportation problem is deteriorating with each passing day. Rail transit has attracted people's interests due to its characteristics of large capacity, punctuality, convenience, and low carbon, thus becoming an indispensable transportation mode in future. At present, urban rail transit is developed vigorously in major cities in China as well as around the world, which induces people's thought on kinds of problems brought by rail transit. In this dissertation, the service level problem of rail transit is studied, and the relationship between one route operation modus of rail transit and service level is analyzed. Under the fixed influencing factors on service level of other rail transit, the impact of the single factor of the train as a service carrier which includes accessibility index, convenience index and comfortably index on service level is investigated. Furthermore, this dissertation analyzes the impact of the train operation modus of one route of rail transit on service level within the range around the route as well as on the passenger flow distribution along the route. In addition, the interrelationship among service level, running interval and technical equipment is researched to improve the service level of rail transit, thus providing better quality of service level along the route. The principal of this dissertation is concerned with such aspects as transport capacity of vehicles, running interval, transport efficiency, passenger flow distribution, as well as the interactively and inter-constrainedly dialectical relationship between those aspects and service level of rail transit.
