As the urbanization develops steadily in our country,urban agglomeration has emerged and entered the stage of rapid development.As the backbone transportation to satisfy the need of close communication between cities and maintain steady urban development,urban agglomeration rail transit is an inseparable part of urban agglomeration transportation system.Strengthening the research on the transport capacity of urban agglomeration rail transit can optimize the allocation of urban agglomeration rail transit resources,assist managers to improve operation plans,and alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of rail transit,which has far-reaching research value and social benefits.Compared with high-speed railway,intercity railway has the characteristics of public transit type,strong time period and high requirement on punctuality rate,besides,it has become normal for urban rail transit to operate a variety of operation organization modes under the condition of current transport capacity shortage.So the traditional transportation capacity calculation method is no longer applicable,and it is urgent to find a suitable method for urban agglomeration rail transit transportation capacity calculation.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the operation characteristics of urban agglomeration rail transit and the main influencing factors of transport capacity,this paper systematically studies the transport capacity assessment of urban agglomeration rail transit.The research contents are as follows:(1)A model for calculating intercity railway transport capacity based on certain service level is established.Based on the analysis of the operation characteristics of intercity railway,the number of stops of trains is used to classify the trains which is more reasonably,and an integer linear programming model is established to maximize the total number of operation train groups.This model can calculate the transport capacity of any specific time period or passenger flow section,and adjust the parameters flexibly to meet the actual operation requirements.Then the model is applied to the calculation of transport capacity of the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway,and the result of the example proves the rationality and superiority of the model.(2)A calculation model of urban rail transit capacity under multiple operation organization modes is established.The paper studies the operation organization characteristics of express/local operation and long and short route operation,and analyzes the influencing factors of the transport capacity of urban rail transit when the two operation organization modes are operated simultaneously.Secondly,by analyzing the characteristics of multiple train operation organization modes,the train types and passengers are classified,and a nonlinear mixed integer programming model is established to maximize the transport capacity on the premise of satisfying the needs of passengers and ensuring a certain level.A case study of Beijing Metro Line 1 proves the feasibility of the model.Moreover,this model can also give the train operation scheme when the transport capacity of the line is maximum.(3)The calculation formulas of the capacity matching degree and the average waiting time of passengers between urban mass transit and intercity railway are put forward.The matching level of capacity and time are respectively measured by the ability of the urban rail transit to evacuate the intercity railway arriving passengers and the average waiting time of the passengers in unit time,and the specific calculation formulas are given.In the end,an example is given at Beijing South Railway Station,and analyze the relationship between the transport capacity matching degree and the average waiting time of passengers,the departure interval,load rate and train formation of urban rail transit.
