Follow a uniform protocol to communicate between devices and equipment more easily and conveniently, Smart devices for the IED from different manufacturers to interoperate and integrate seamlessly to provide an effective way.To accustom the rapid development of substation automation technology,on the base of data pro-type of UCA2.0 and according to many concerned standards, IED make the first whole international communication standard system on substation automation system, that is, IEC61850. By adopting modeling object-oriented, abstract communication service interface and XML technology, and by introducing the mechanism of specific communication service mapping, the standard can keep up with the rapid development of communication technology without losingits stability.
