The development of fiber winding machine's,drive the fiber winding industrial to expanse and grow. The first winding machines are mechanical, that are more suitable for the mass production for the shaped products and some simpler products. It is simple in structure, reliable transmission, convenient maintenance, easy manufacturing and less investment etc, and therefore still in large use and in continued development. The main research contents of this topic are analysis the fiber winding law of spherical presure vessel, and using mechanical winding machine to wind FRP spherical pressure vessel, which is slightly more complicated container.Firstly, this paper study the winding rule for spherial vessels, and calculate the suitable winding linear, winding angle and the corresponding speed ratio of the specific spherical container, and then design the structure of mechanical winding machine of spherical containers. According to the different relative motion between mandrel and filament, the winding machine can be divided into such types:the mandrel rotates, the filament translates; the mandrel rotates and translates, the filament rotates; the mandrel rotates and translates, but the filament doesn't move; the mandrel doesn't move, the filament translates and rotates. In the text the winding machine works with the mandrel rotating and the filament translating. But due to the particularity of spherical container, apart from the translation motion, the filament also has the forward and backward motion. It is realized by the arm in the car linkage institutions with connecting rod movement. And for the sake of the stability mechanism motion. The mechanical winding machine of this paper is driven by a motor car to led the movement of spindle and car, and we design a set of wheels box to speed regulation, and calculate the transimission ratio of the mechanical winding machine'wheels box,when winding the same spherial vessels, but change the wideth of yarn piece. The text is completed with the platform called "Pro/E" software, we designed the parts graph and assembly drawing of the winding machine, using the mighty parameter associations and dimension driven function of the software. We ensure the relevance of parameters in the whole design process and the information transfer between them, then we designed 3d model through these templates.This text also makes a statement about the corresponding transmission ratio when the width of the winding yarn piece changed.At last we make a simulation about the winding process using Pro/E Mechanicanism module, which make the whole process more intuitive. We hope this can be helpful to the practical production.This paper use ANSYS software that has powerful finite element analysis of important complex function, analysis the finite element of mechanical part, and compare the actual to the theoretical calculation result, and to prove the feasibility and reliability design.
