Abstract/Summary:
With construction and renovation of rapid transit railway in china, locomotive speed is increasing while safety issues received more and more attention. The reliability, security and real-time of rail transport has become a hot topic. For a long time, the railway sector has been troubled by the problem of troubleshooting locomotive fault diagnosis and fault location. Detecting fault of train equipment and systems, resolving failure as soon as possible, can not only ensure safety of railway transportation, but also improve the relevance of locomotive maintenance, reduce maintenance costs and avoid outages or broken accident which will cause economic losses.The network-based locomotive fault detection and analysis system that this paper designed, is able to monitor the status of key electrical equipment, capture MVB network data, diagnose fault combined with network data, as a result, it provide a new way for fault analysis and diagnosis.The whole system can be divided into two parts, hardware equipment and PC software, hardware equipment includes a equipment monitoring board and a network monitoring board. Equipment monitoring board is based on DSP, using DSP to diagnose fault and storage fault data of key equipment. Network monitoring board is based on FPGA, using FPGA to collect, process and cache MVB real-time data. After judging fault by DSP, network monitoring board transmits network data to equipment monitoring board through SPI interface module. The electrical equipment and network fault characteristic data storage to large capacity Flash of equipment monitoring board by the format of FAT 16 system file, thereby providing a basis for fault analysis and positioning later.Using C# in Visual Studio2010 integrated development environment to complete PC software development, PC software provides an interactive interface for browsing, searching, analyzing and diagnosing fault. Use Access database technology to realize massive fault file management; extract failure analysis file data and locate the fault time; apply GDI+ mapping technology to draw graphs of equipment fault state. Combined with MVB network protocol to analyze the network data and comprehensively diagnose fault.After laboratory design and continuous improvement to verify the function of the system, it achieves good results.
