The effect of expressway is to improve transport speed, decrease transportation cost effectively. With the rapid development of economy, the characteristic of expressway with fast and effective is more obvious. Nearly 10 years, with nation expressway rapid development, expressway total mileage has reached 6.5 million kilometers, only next to the United States. But with the increase of expressway mileage, the incidence of the traffic accident obviously improved, especially in winter. Most parts of northern of China will undergo 4,5 months of snow weather. When snow, traffic accident occurred frequently. And heavy snow blocked the road, the traffic was delayed, personal safety and economic development that caused great damage. Therefore, clear snow and ice timely and effectively is the important work of pavement maintenance in winter in expressway. Improving expressway transportation capacity, reducing the number of traffic accidents, promoting economic development has the significant meaning.Firstly, snow removal command system in expressway was established for the northern of China.Analyze the content and functions of the system. Establish the database for the system, using Visual C# language to build the function of the query, add, modify, and delete.Research the important decision-making content of snow removal work, snow removal alarm time. Based on the principle of choice to alarm time, a snow warning time method is given. Through the car braking distance test, get the relationship of the snow thickness and adhesion coefficient. Finally,confirm the expressway snow removal snow of command alarm time under the circumstance of low wind speed and in winter season of northern regions.The article analyzes the factors that influence the system reliability and establishes the evaluation index system on expressway snow removal command system. With the method of analytic hierarchy process, the article achieves the rated ratio of the factors that influence the system reliability.
