With the development of economic globalization, the links between various countries and regions are becoming increasingly close, and trade is also becoming more frequent. In international trade, method of shipping plays an important role, especially container transport. Because it has features of fast speed, being easy to handle, high degree of mechanization, high operating efficiency, and can improve transport efficiency, reduce costs, satisfying customer needs maximally, it has irreplaceable and unmatched status and role in the modern transport. However, continued growth in the throughput of container transport, gives port production tremendous pressure, to improve the competitiveness of container ports, and to make the port operate efficiently and economically, we must optimize the allocation of all operations and all resources on the port reasonably, including the rational allocation of container yard operations, field bridge and other work resource of operating machine, so we can to reduce the waiting time of the bank bridge, then shorten the time of the ship docking time in the port and improve the capacity of the container port operations.This paper regards the container terminal yard as the research object, and researches the issue of distribution and scheduling of the field bridge machinery resources. First of all I made a detailed research about processes on the container yard, and access to a large number of the relevant domestic and foreign literature data. In the model research of the container yard, heuristic models are most used, mainly considering the operating time of the field bridge and the least the time that field bridge complete the assignments as the objective function. But the arrival of the container in yard is random, so the field bridge work is also random, although the operation time of field bridge can be shortest, but the container may not reach, leading to the field bridge idling and wasting of resources. Based on the above considerations, the model proposed in this paper regards the maximum utilization of the field bridge as the target function, in order to make the field bridge source be to maximize use. By contrast, I choose the heuristic as a model base, then towards characteristics of the field bridge operations, improve the model, propose the bridge field distribution and scheduling model whose object is maximizing utilization of the field bridge machines, and solve the model,then get the optimum distribution program of the field bridge.Finally, with the actual field bridge distribution data in some port yard, the paper optimize it by this model, by comparison with the original distribution scheme, we found that the optimized allocation scheme has a higher utilization rate of the field bridge.
