Power load management is one of the most important technology means at the power demand side management. It can alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand, guarantee the power supply, improve the power utilization efficiency, and safeguard the safe and economic operation of electric power systems. Its main purpose is to improve the grid load curve shape so that power load is balanced, and to provide a technical support to the electric power market and customer service platform.Taking into account the development requirements of the power load management system, the paper discusses in detail the design and realization process, and summarizes and validates the rationality, reliability and security of the system design processes. Full text is divided into five parts. Chapter 1 mainly introduces the development history of power load management systems at home and abroad, and points out our research background and main work contents. Chapter 2 introduces GPRS service characteristics, analyzes the GPRS service principle, discusses the implementation scheme of GPRS service, and briefly introduces the system master station design. Chapter 3 introduces the electric power load management system structure and working principle, analyzes the design of the communication network, management terminal and its function modules, discusses the low consumption and reliability design of the hardware and software. Chapter 4 introduces the realization of power load management system with main focus on the terminal configuration principle, systems parameters and terminal installation wiring. The conclusion of this paper summarizes the main work, puts forward the future work, and discusses its development direction.
