Currently, Cable-stayed Bridge which play an irreplaceable role in contribution of bridge, have become one of the most favorite bridge type in people's mind. As an important member in the family of cable-stayed bridge, Cable-stayed bridge with bias tower is often used to city landscape because of its artistic feeling in the appearance.The tower in most of cable-stayed bridge with bias tower which have a huge advantage in spanning small or medium size river is single tower. However, though the bias tower bring a strong visual impact to people, in the same time it also improve some difficult in the bridge construction. Took Siyang Bridge as background of the project, this paper researched and explored the measure of how to get a perfect alignment and stress in the tower after it is done. There are some important discusses mentioned in the follow aspects:1 Firstly, the paper present the developing history of the cable-stayed bridge; introduce the characteristics and the representative work of the cable-stayed bridge from the first generation to the fourth generation; describe the basic structure of the cable-stayed bridge and the layout of the tower; in the same time dissect the trait of the cable-stayed bridge.2 The important of construction control process in cable-stayed bridge with bias tower is expounded, beyond that, the construction control process about pre-bias quantity to regulate the alignment of the tower are mentioned and deduced, which is the basic theory of the analysis and calculation.3 The pre-bias quantity about the tower element and the cable tube is extracted from the model of Siyang bridge which is built by the finite element software—MIDAS/CIVIL, and is also based on the measure data. Further more, the stress and the alignment about every element of the tower can be present through the analysis of this model, the same as the best place of embedding the stress probe.4 The measure of bridge construction control is confirmed by the analysis of model data, the condition of construction and the characteristics of Siyang bridge tower. Through the measured data from the important section and position, the feasibility and the effectiveness about the construction control measure is confirmed. The success of the construction control in this tower is a valuable experience for other bridge tower in the same kind.5 Based on a comprehensive summary of main work about this thesis, several problems on the construction control about the tower demanding study further are brought forward.
