Locomotive auxiliary circuit's main function is to provide cooling for the main circuit, the air supply to air brake system, power supply socket, car battery charging, to ensure the supply to air-conditioning, heating, ventilation equipment, power supply, lighting and other power. The working status of main circuit directly affected by the working conditions of auxiliary circuit, so the key of the stability and safety of the locomotive is to ensure the auxiliary circuit working under normal condition.It is necessary to test the reliability of the auxiliary converter. As technology advances, the original test platform system has been unable to meet the development needs. It's urgent to develop a highly integrated, feature a modular test-bed control and test systems. After the research on the domestic systems, and combining with the application of advanced testing technologies, and the system requirements analysis of the test bed, the China Academy of Railway Sciences and Beijing Pengfa power electronic technology company develop a new energy circular flow test bed by using a virtual instrument technology, it uses LabVIEW 8.5 as the platform of the control system and test system.The key part of this paper is to use Lab VIEW's graphical programming model, combined with LabVIEW'S function modules, through the CAN bus, serial port, ethernet to achieve the communication between the control computer and equipments, or the computer and the data acquisition devices. In the programming process, it mainly uses the layering sequence of structural design, structural conditions design, While loop and For loop design.After the completion of the entire system programming, it tests the accuracy of power supply parameter to the converter devices. The test results show that the system is running well, it meets the control and function requirements of the test platform.
