In recent years, the rapid growth of power industry provides a strong guarantee to the development of our national economy, but it also paid a tremendous resource and environmental costs. On the background of Energy Saving and Emission Reduction, if the power generation enterprises want to develop continuously and healthily, it must solve the problem of high energy consumption and environmental pollution. China's "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" proposed energy consumption per unit of GDP should be reduced by 20%, the total discharge of major pollutants reduced by 10%. For coal-fired power plants, with the increase of installed power generation capacity and power system continued to deepen, the competition among Power generation enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce. Forcing Power generation companies to continuously improve the efficiency of power generation units to reduce Power generation costs and achieve profitability and normal operation. Based on the increasing national environmental requirements and the enterprise's pressures, This paper introduces that as an old power generation companies, facing with personnel, obsolete equipment, and other unfavorable factors, GuoHua PanShan Power Company how to enable enterprises to continuously improve energy consumption indicators and better maintenance of the enterprise's profitability and market competitiveness by increasing the depth of the implementation of double-double project,. This paper focuses on the Energy conservation of Power generation department in PanShan Power plant's double-double project. It elaborates the Power generation department of PanShan Power plant controlling the operating parameters to maintain strict operating parameters unit interval in the economy rang; makeing the unit continue to reduce unit energy consumption during normal operation and start-stop such circumstances through continuous optimization of operation mode; improving unit reliability and economy of practices through in-depth treatment of outdated equipment. The results are very good. PanShan Power plant in unit energy consumption levels continue to improve and upgrade, with the standard shrinking the gap between the advanced units, so that enterprises will not be out of the market. I hope that the thesis can provide a reference to the similar enterprises.
