Population scale and land using scale are increasing constantly, and new urban districts and new cities are constructed everywhere, to adapt the increasing scales of cities and the optimization of the urban spatial structures. The commercial space is always an important element of the evolution in urban integral space, and it is necessary for expanding merchandise sales to pay close attention to the influence of the demand of consumers to modern commercial space, and to create a good commercial space, at the same time, it is an important content of the research to commercial space layout.Modern commercial buildings begin to expand in two third-line cities, after the expansion in selected cities. But based on the development of two third-line cities, there were some questions one by one.Such as the defects of space layout, and charm losing in the transplanted commercial buildings, and lack of city characteristic, etc, and the fundamental reason of the problems was the lack of consideration in the demand of consumers.In view of the above questions, this paper proposed to apply consumer behavior theory to the commercial space lay out, and through the research to behavior of consumers, sum up the relationship of commercial space layout and behavior of consumers, analysis and conclude the reasonable space arrangement of modern commercial buildings, taking CBD Wanda shopping plaza in Qingdao for example.This paper was mainly divided into the following several parts:In the first chapter, the background and the purpose of the subject was proposed and the object and the meaning, the content and method of the study were expounded in the paper. In the second chapter, modern commercial space layout was basically analysised and its basic elements, element position setting and space combination model were carried out.In the third chapter, the concepts and definition of the behavior of consumers were narratived, and the needs and purpose of the behavior of consumers, and environmental factors that influence it were analysised.The fourth chapter is the key section, and in this paper, modern commercial space layout of CBD Wanda shopping plaza was analysised from the demand of the behavior of consumers. The advantagement of its space layout and management problems occurred in the process.In the fifth chapter, the commercial space layout and the behavior of consumers were summaried, and the form of the modern commercial space layout was prospected, according to the problems above.The sixth chapter was the conclusion, according to the research above, the design of building a modern commercial was proposed.The objective of this paper was that refining value of the consideration that the behavior of consumers as the element of commercial space layout, and proposing some suggestion to modern commercial space layout from various angles, so commercial space layout could be optimized and resources could be allocatd reasonable.
