Diesel engine high pressure electronic fuel injection system is a high efficiency system integrated computer control technology, modern sense inspection technology and fuel injection structure. Under the control of electric control unit (ECU), it can control the supply of fuel in any work condition timely and accurately. Therefore, the diesel engine can reduce noise and emission of contaminate, thus to improve the property index. All of these not only need good control strategies, but also high efficient and reliable ECU basic software which is also a key point. The basic software is the basis for ECU to realize all its control functions, so its properties directly affect the engine. The research of basic software is an essential part in the process of researching ECU.Basic software technology mainly includes basic software structure, inspecting calculation of work condition parameters, I/O drive, communication and storage module drive etc. This dissertation adopts the MC9S12XE Dual-core Chip from Freescale Company as CPU, and develops diesel engine high pressure common-rail electronic control fuel system basic software on the platform of Codewarrior, adopting the method of hierarchies and modules to develop software. The main content is:1,Embedded software module research: Refer to the Autosar standard, the high pressure common rail electronic control system software can be divided into three hierarchies: Application level, application support level and micro controller image level. Adopt hierarchy method could do better to reduce the coupling between each layers, to make each software level be able to program separately according to the level and module respectively, and then be integrated in mass.2,Micro controller abstract layer software design: the microcontroller abstract layer could be subdivided into IO module, communication module, storage module, micro controller driving module and complex driving module; each of the module software has been designed in details.3,Apply software design in support layer: make a detailed introduction to several crucial modules in the application support layer, such as the storage and search of data MAP, rotation calculation, realization of oil supply for each time and CCP standard module etc. Finally, the software simulation experiment environment is designed, under which the low-level software is doing the simulation operation, at last, all the software modules' efficiency and reliability have been verified by the engine pedestal experiment.
