| With the development of economy in our country, the power demand is more and more. As the clean and renewable energy, hydroelectric development takes the top priority in the 12th five-year-plan scheme. Large numbers of Hydro Power Plants are being built, which cries out for better Monitoring System. It is necessary to do the research and design on the open and modularized structure of the computer network monitoring system. It makes the system to complete the data acquisition and processing, as well as to achieve online control and regulation for the hydro-generating unit, the supply transformer, the electromagnetic switching station, the gate, the oil, gas, water and other public assistant equipments in Hydro Power Plant. It also makes the system to realize AGC and AGV, makes the operation for Human Machine Interface neat, easy and forthright, as well as makes the diagnosis and communication for the system rapid, complete and reliable.This paper takes the new Hydro Power Plant which in Yunnan for an example. It proposes the whole design for the Computer Monitoring System, according to the specific requirements for the power industry and the particular environment, as well as on the basis of the developing level of Computer Monitoring System in Hydro Power Plant in our country.This system includes two levels, the Station Control Level and the Local Control Level, which uses the unified GPS clock signal to set time and the double 1000Mbps Ethernet optical fibers to communicate.On the basis of the control function, control mode and etc, the Local Control Unit (LCU) includes 2 sets of the Generating Unit LCU,1 set of the Public Set LCU,1 set of the Switch Station LCU and 1 set of the Gate Set LCU. In terms of communication, LCU can communicate with the host computer through the Ethernet card in PLC, and PLC can communicate with the intelligent instruments, the speed governing and excitation system, the relay protection system and etc, through the Communication Machine, according to the Modbus Communication Protocol and Open Bus-type Network Structure. In terms of system performance, this paper ensures the data real-time by using the foreign advanced hardware products and specific software design, raises the system safety and reliability by the electrical isolation design for the I/O signals and the redundant design for the Ethernet, the power supply and CPU, as well as achieves the requirement of the open design by enough software and hardware interface in the system network.On the basis of the control requirement, the Station Control Level includes the System and Operation Station, the On-Call Station, the Report Station, the Engineering Station, the Telecommunications Station, the plant intercommunication station and etc. The Station Control Level uses the H9000 Control System to monitor, set up the database, write the control flow charts and the control programs, as well as design the Human Machine Interface.The system designed in this paper has met the expected control requirements in Computer Monitoring System in this Hydro Power Plant when used in the project. Because of the open design, it provides room for upgrading and remodeling of the system in the future. |
