The Study On The Utilization Of The "Human Settlement" Theory In Planning And Design Of Residential Quarter

The year 2011 marks the beginning of China's implementation of the 12th Five-Year Plan, and now the residential quarter is in its best development period, which is also a high-speed development period. However, high-speed development may be accompanied by fickleness; therefore, we should also take this issue into consideration rationally. Along with the rapid development of the country's economy and the improved living standard of people's life, people are pursuing for high quality of residential environment."Human settlement " theory focuses on the rules of the influences of all environmental factors (human factors, social factors, natural factors, building factors, support factors) in residential areas. With the help of these rules,"human settlement " theory can guide the selection, construction and reform of inhabitation environment, bring harmony to the human and nature, and ensure the healthy body and mind and human life. Therefore, the paper aims to provide a reference on the utilization of"human settlement"theory in the future application of residential area planning and design.By using literature review, field study, questionnaire survey, examples illustration and summary, and inductive and deductive reasoning, this paper carries out a substantial research. This paper based on the sequence of literature review - analysis - example - summary, carried out a basic research on the application of the"human settlement"theory in Planning and design of residential quarter:In the part of literature review, the author makes an analysis on relevant documents on the object of research, which provides basis for future work. In analysis section, the author analyzed the problems of planning and design of residential quarter; then carries out an comprehensive analysis on the human factors, social factors, natural factors, building factors, support factors in the"human settlement"theory. In the part of case study, a questionnaire survey is carried out in Xiulan city garden of Baoding to investigate the requirements and satisfaction degree of the residents on the application of"human settlement"theory, through on-the-spot investigation, the author analyzes the application and practice of the"human settlement"theory in Xiulan city garden of Baoding. Finally, through the analysis of application of"human settlement"theory in planning and design of residential quarter, the paper makes the following conclusions:(1) Based on human factors, creating humanize residential quarter.(2) Rely on social factors, creating residential quarters where resources can be fairly shared.(3) Improving clear support factors, creating residential quarters with safety.(4) Completing changing architectural factors, creating comfort residential quarters.(5) Deploying rich natural factors, creating residential quarters with naturalized environment.
