Basing on all these researches, the thesis carries out a new design method system of waterfront linear landscape and puts forward a set of effective theoretical method.Finally, the thesis points out during the planning design of waterfront area's linear landscape, on the one hand, one should emphasize the assurance of the wholeness and varieties of space, strengthen the identification of linear landscape and the accessibility of waterfront area, create the harmonious of the city's horizon line and the succession of open space; On the other hand, when landscape is designed, one should fully follow the ideal of people—first values, at the same time, as the ecology and municipal characteristic be strengthened,we will create the linear landscape of waterfront area with the harmonious of humanity and natural developed.
