| With the quick change of technology, the modern garden lighting has rapid development, so as to create a bright future for city beautification and evening activities of people. Park green space as the main form of urban landscape, building night landscape on the whole city's night image plays a vital role. Garden lights as the carrier of garden lighting, there is no doubt of its role. However, irrational use of lamps and misconceptions of garden lighting has led to emerged a number of disharmonious factors. Therefore, it is necessary to research that how to explore the potential of garden lamps, collocation and application of garden lighting and prevent light pollution, to create a harmonious environment and further improve the light quality of night lighting. In this paper, information access, field survey, summary analysis, selection and application of the lighting was discussed and draw the relevant conclusions.The investigation of this thesis starting as the garden lamps to the main line. On the base of summary of the classification and function, discussed the garden lighting options, application and used common model. At the same time, taking into account the impact of an aging society, I have made the relevant discussion on the requirement of the elderly to lamps. In addition, summarized the light pollution in the park in some of the specific form and proposed solutions.With examples, I have surveyed and analyzed the status of lamps application in Martyrs Park, Southern suburbs Park, Xiaoyuan Park, the scenery along the Xiang River, Yuehu Park, Lugu Park, Orange Island Park in Changsha City. Based on the actual situation and with data analysis, these seven parks to the reasonableness of the landscape lighting applications were ranked and divided into two categories, summed up the problems of lighting application of these parks, finally to address these issues combined with the theory previously put forward appropriate recommendations for improvement.
