Research On Application Of Fiber-Optics Lighting In Landscape Architecture

Commercial optical fiber lighting was first invented by US and Canadian private companies in the 1970 s.It is using optical fiber separation research results,combined with total reflection theory,through the reflection of the light parallel to the arbitrary bending of the fiber.Fiber optic lighting achieves the possibility that people want to deliver light safely to any place.The technical characteristics of fiber optic lighting can meet the requirements of modern public area lighting and both light and shadow modeling.It has been applied in garden space such as city park,residential public area and tourist area,and shows the superior safety and the potential of plastic arts.Fiber optic lighting has become an increasingly important role in the landscape of the landscape.The research methods used in this paper include literature induction method,field investigation method,interdisciplinary research method,case analysis method and other research methods.Through the use of these methods,this paper focuses on the analysis of fiber optic lighting in the park entrance,primary and secondary garden road,pavement square,outside the building contours,landscape water,tree contours,garden sketches,park logo,home garden and other garden lighting applications.This paper also presents some fiber optic lighting design and installation details.By summarizing the research results of fiber optic lighting applications at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the advantages of fiber optic lighting in the garden compared with traditional lighting,and gives the application of fiber optic lighting in the night view of garden.This paper also analyzes the application case of fiber optic lighting in specific outdoor projects,hoping to become a pioneer in the future application of fiber optic lighting in gardens.In the future,our research results can guide the new research and development of new technology and new materials in garden lighting,and promote the community to pay more attention to the application of new technology and new materials in public space.
