Abstract/Summary:
As the large-scale flow distribution in public places, the metro transfer station is relatively closed, staff-intensive and great mobility. Pedestrian flow is very easy to susceptible to subway facilities and different densities, reducing the comfort and quickness of transfer process. The purpose of this paper is to observation and analysis pedestrian walking behavior at the different facilities of metro transfer station, establish metro transfer station pedestrian flow evacuation time model considering the pedestrian density and space environment change. On the one hand it has important practical significance to improve the transfer efficiency and safety of pedestrians travel; on the other hand it also provides the reference to rational design of transfer station and train operation organization.Firstly, the paper does the observation and analysis on pedestrian walking behavior at platform, flat passage and downlink stair, then fitting out the speed-density relation curves at these places. The results can as the input for pedestrian flow evacuation time model.Secondly, on the basis of summarize traditional evacuation time model, the paper do research respectively on evacuation time at alight train, platform, passage, stair and escalator and establish metro transfer station pedestrian evacuation time model. For the plat evacuation time, the paper proposes the concept of speed mutation point and establish platform evacuation time model considering the pedestrian density and passage evacuation ability. Finally, the paper calculates the transfer time of HuiXinXiJieNanKou station with this model and prove the applicability of this model with the compared of measured. Through analysising the relationship of number of passengers and evacuate time, the paper gets the methods and recommendations to avoid the "stagnation" phenomenon and improve the transfer efficiency.
