waterproof and cohesive layer is an important part of OGFC(Open-graded friction courses). Adhesive and waterproof effect of the bonding materials directly impact on the use of pavement performance. Currently the material selection and design are great subjectivity because of the research of OGFC waterproof and cohesive layer at an early stage. Therefore,the research of OGFC's waterproof and cohesive layer from materials and mechanical analysis have important theoretical significance and practical value.In this paper, the highway of liu(an) qian(shan) is as the background. By taking the numerical simulation analysis of the physical engineering with finite element analysis software,we can get various rules of the effect of each related layer on the stress and strain of adhesive layer .And according to the acting character of physical engineering to ensure the shear strength of material.According to the real situation of this testing road ,we put forward the new requirments of the basic performance indicators of the testing road.And by taking four basic service tests of adhesive materials,including epoxy asphalt, modified emulsified asphalt ,modified bitumen and the high viscosity of asphalt,we can get to know that the four materials meet the technical requirements of road.And then, four kinds of bonding stability tests of asphalt material are taken, including slant shear test and direct pullout test. By analyzing the results of shear test and pull test of different environments we can obtain various laws about the changes of bond strength of the material. With the experimental results and numerical simulation results compared,we come to a conclusion that the use of modified asphalt emulsion to support projects is reliable and secure.Finally,we take the support projects as the background to study the construction techniques of adhesive layer of modified emulsified asphalt and put forward measures those should be done to ensure the construction quality.
