The technology of frequency measure is abroad applied in development of ocean, navigation on ship and so many fields based on the effect of Doppler in the sound wave under water. Although the GPS is developing in the high speed, but the Doppler log is still not replaced, especially in marine affairs. Now the new type Doppler log avoids the issue of compencation for sound velocity with the Janus and Phased array technology. That improves the capability of Doppler log. And this kind of Doppler log has advance of avoiding the affect of sensor size, then temperature of water, salty, stress and lot of information compaired with other logs.Doppler log determine the velocity of ship by mensurating the Doppler excusion in frequency. This thesis aims at Doppler frequency measure system and surrounds the DSP of system. This thesis includes two parts: the I/O controller, and other device controller; like: A/D, SDRAM, UART and so on, designing in VHDL; the designing of DSP in system, like: FIR, mixing frequency and so on.The controlling circuits of devices and I/O are designed correctly, and we have the ideal result from the simulation. The designing of DSP achieve the result we need. Through improving the arithmetic we enhance the capability of system.
