The Heritage And Innovation For Culture Of Art Gallery Exhibition Space

Now we are in the era with high modernization and informationization. The springing up of new material, new technology, new idea, new concept and the inrushing of trend of thought in design from overseas impact our own design culture unprecedented. In this way, the requirement of society and people is changing constantly. At the same time, industrial civilization takes the crisis of energy, environment and ecology which all designers have to face. How to adapt and use it, making design as the product of the era, is becoming an important work for contemporary designers.No matter to material and technology or culture and spirit, the development of human society is historical continuity and expansibility. It requires we respect and protect and inherit the history of city. To the Art Exhibit Design, we should use the method with modern theory, material and technology to finish our designing work; on the other hand, we also must pay attention to inherit and innovation of city's history. In the aim of protection, study and inheritance historical culture and art, we should try to invest the Art Exhibit Design a new historical mission----in a better way to spread culture and art information, compare with simplex showing model.This paper starts from the studying to the creation and development of home and aboard Art Exhibit and the method of Art Exhibit Design, analyzing the relationship between history and Art Exhibit Design, exploring a new method of showing Art Exhibit Design with historical mind: color reconstruction, scale reconstruction, form reconstruction, material reconstruction and so on. At the same time, this paper suggests that Art Exhibit Design have the ability to express the culture of area: reproduction, finishing touch, integration, color and so on, with the design idea which could adapt to the inherit, integrate, develop and innovate of Art Exhibit Culture. It provides new idea for contemporary Art Exhibit Design and new innovation for showing model through trial summary of designing theory and knowledge for Art Exhibit Design. This paper shows the practice effect for correlation theory of Art Exhibit Design through an actual case (Kaifeng new fan tower art exhibit) which is designed by the author. For example, it shows how to connect the Art Exhibit Design and the history of local area, with the extension of history and the charm of Chinese traditional culture. It hopes that it could provide some practice reference for Art Exhibit Design and provide some enlighten to correlation design for other designers. It also hopes that some professional person could provide more suggestion for the deficiency of this paper.
