As manufacturing various screw sizes and shapes complication, making processing method and machining technology constantly updated change, even only depending on the NC machining method of realization. Usually, a complex screw processing need through design and choose appropriate tools, calculation and calibration, and the formation of NC program, try cutting etc, several steps,but try cutting costs quite the many hours and materials. Therefore, processing in front of the computer aided design and the simulation experiment have become more important. Different processing object, processing theory and method and system often need to develop special CAM system, to accomplish a specific process data preparation, fixed model modeling and simulation, calculation, auxiliary processing and so on a series of function.Cone twin-screw is a design and processing complex alien work piece, by its complex geometric parameters and processing method, the influence of modeling and simulation processing more difficult. Topics in the main research targets in establishing its kinematics theory mathematical model, determine the effective modeling method, realization of conical twin-screw pair of computer simulation, based on complete milling technology and the envelope the cone twin-screw NC machining CAM system.It firstly analyzes the cone twin-screw vice geometric structure, based on kinematics theory, established conical twin-screw spiral description model. Secondly, this paper presented a based on the base of the spiral curve sweeping modeling methods. This method takes the fixed point spiral movement trajectory as sweeping path, with tooth profile section as basic element. Through the vertical sweeping gets threaded entity, then using booleans complete with cone-shaped screw three-dimensional modeling. Because the spiral curve modeling method only rely on the theoretical calculation result, so only in curve discrete may result when smaller error, can achieve very ideal modeling effect. Subsequently, discussed based on the above modeling method based on motion control method, and 3D graphics magnification, reducing, mobile, rotate, etc. Finally, using Open CASCADE modeling library under stratum graphic library and OCAF framework for development tools, completed the cone twin-screw special CAM system development and design.Analysis and experiments show that, Set up in the paper modeling method reduces the computational complexity, and it has higher rendering speed and the ideal 3D simulation effect, can be used in similar complex work piece modeling. And the use of the design of CAM system for actual processing experiments demonstrate that, system of functionality provided by covering the complete work piece production processes, with cone-shaped screw of the NC processing production has strong auxiliary role and significance.
