The Twin-screw compressor is a kind of displacement air compressor, which has a great deal of strongpoint, such as structure compact, little vibration, environmental adaptability, easy to operate, and capability of multi-phase transmission in the field of petroleum, chemical, aerodynamics, etc., and it has played a crucial role in various industry. Research has developed earlier in foreign countries, while the domestic is much later, and it is mostly for the purchase of foreign core items and plus simple processing, mainly in the form of assembly. To the main reason for its own economic and practical research, in particular, the design of the core pieces of screw, processing principles and methods of application, the Zhejiang University, jointed with a famous screw compressor manufacturer-Zhejiang red five link machinery limited company, declared a major scientific and technological project-an integrated twin-screw compressor technology and applications-to Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Department. The following points are the specific work I participated in the course of the project:l,with the large number of research from literature and books, and the exchange of partners, we have summarized the current research status and market analysis of twin-screw compressor both at home and abroad; 2,learned principles of curve design, performance characteristics of various types of curve, I have given a new type of curve designing based on arc and arc envelope, drawing in corresponding software, and three-dimensional parametric modeling; 3,to study the thermodynamic properties of the compressor rotors, the multi-thermodynamic condition experiments, we have given heat field distribution, stress distribution, deformation distribution under the condition of thermal with yin and yang rotors, in order to guide the processing and assembly parameters under cold conditions; 4,given analysis of statics, dynamics calculation of the twin-screw rotors, in particular, based on the Nastran solver for finite element analysis and UG-ADAMS assembly motion simulation, achieved a computer analysis and dynamic simulation about mechanical interference and force-change analysis; 5,finished the modeling of screw compressor, and a whole-machine modal analysis and optimization, in particular, is to analyze the mode formation, eliminating resonance and many other damping measures, also on the causes of compressor noise were analyzed, we have given the vibration and noise reduction measures; 6,with our own patented design of the separation-barrel for oil and gas, especially in the pre-design of separation-barrel, using the CFD simulation of gas-liquid two-phase separation in multiphase flow processes, separation rate determination, gives an important guiding on the specific design parameters.
