The special advantages of the conical twin-screw extruder are showed at the part of temperature and trimming sensitization for the material. And the extruder has already became the main style for the dry mixed powder plot , and are more and more applied in the area of confectioning of the tubing, board , heterotypical material, and the silt product of the material UPVC and PPVC and so on. The key part of the conical twin-screw extruder is the conical twin-screw.The mutual meshing conical twin-screw is the key part of the extruder. The precision of the meshing influenced the quality of the extrusion product. The traditional making method of the conical twin-screw generates the inaccuracy of the meshing and non-uniform gap mistake. The meshing theory of the conical twin-screw is profoundly researched in this paper and the characteristics of the profile are analyzed, then the new method which the current profile is substituted for the fold line is put forward. And the profile is optimized. The software of the C++Builder 5.0 is used to program the simulation picture, and the meshing precision is conventional analyzed.First, the meshing theory of the straight profile is analyze, and the new profile for conical twin-screw is introduced for the shortage of the straight in the premise of the rotor interference and the product of the extrusion. Second, the optimization parameter, the optimization algorithm and solution mathematic model is defined. The spiral curve and the relative speed of the rotor are analyzed in the theory. And the same time the characteristic of the meshing of the pair of the rotor are analyzed and the interference of the contact zone is judged and analyze. It supports the theory base for the making of the screw.The feasibility of the fold line is certificated by the numerical calculation and three-dimension emulation and programming, the rationality of the method is proofed. It supports the theory t base of the precision making for the future conical twin-screw. And the making of the high precision conical twin-screw can become realization.
