| Currently In the customer-oriented market environment, diversity and individual needs of customers makes the product design more complicated, the design cycles longer and the product update faster, which bring the enterprise a great challenge. How to manage and use the design knowledge efficiently in order to improve the efficiency of design and the quality of product become the key to remain competitive. This article will conduct the following research and application in order to resolve the problems above.1. Under the premise of generalizing the existing knowledge of mechanical design, a combinational knowledge representation based on the ontology is presented. The method uses four concepts composed by feature class, processes class, principles class and instances class to represent the knowledge. This article also puts forward the process of modeling the concepts, which make a normative description for the design knowledge.2. For the characteristics of the mechanical product structure, this paper will present combined features search strategy to configure the search index of examples, use the method combined of nearest-neighbor algorithm and Knowledge-guided algorithm to calculate the similarity of examples, and get the weight of features intelligently on the base of K-means algorithm, in order to search the similar examples fast and accurately.3. This paper will use Petri nets to build up the product design process model. On the one hand, present the concept of Petri block to reduce the size of Petri nets; on the other hand, add the predicate module to the transition to improve the logical processing capabilities of transition.4.At last,based on the existing PDM system, this paper will develop the motorcycle brake design system by using Visual Studio as the development environment and SQL Server as the database system, following the method of knowledge modeling which proposed by the paper above. |
