The steel tube on-line auto NDT equipment is important to the steel tube production. It's useful to improve the values of steel tube, ensure it's quality, improve the production efficiency.The equipment is an automatic inspection and control system. At present, most of these equipments used in domestic factories are importions. The research on this is absorbed in the inspection part and less in the control part.Based on studying the similar equipments of the foreign and the domestic, this thesis shows a design of steel tube on-line atuto NDT equipment auxiliaries control system. It is supported by the design of automatic NDT equipment of PanZhiHua Iron & Steel Research Institute.Accoding to the factory demand and the experiences of the production and maintenance, the thesis designs a control system with SIMATIC S7-300 PLC. It includes the selection of hardwares, the design of electric principles and the configs. It also frames the software, designs the programs. At last the thesis elementarily discusses some characters about the control system, such as the reliability and the security.In this system, some technologies such as PLC, Frequency-Converter, Profibus and some new components such as Safty Relay are used.The system is used to control the automatic steel tube on-line NDT equipment. The inspection technics and process of steel tube, rail etc.. are similar. So the equipment especially the control part has partly currency, and it is useful to the similar designs and applications.
