Quantitative packing scale is the main equipment of quantitative packing system for loose material. It was generated with the rapid development of sensor technology, electronic technology and computer technology to meet the demand of quantitative packing. It is an automatic electronic weighing apparatus with high degree of automation, which can meet the requirements of automatic weighing and packing. The quantitative packing scale discussed in this paper is designed for powder material and homogeneous loose granular materials, mainly used for automatic quantitative measurement in packaging production line in enterprises.The main function is feeding and weighing materials at the same time. And ration loose material is automatically loaded into packaging bags one by one, which can meet the technological requirements of the follow-up process of automatic packaging line. The loading and weighing are automatical, without manual intervention. The weighing accuracy and weighing speed are the two key technical index of quantitative packing scale.Quantitative packing scale consists of feeding mechanism, weighing device and cliping mechanism and other auxiliary mechanism. And the weighing device consists of weighing sensor,weighing control instrument and material container. In addition to weighing and measuring, weighing control instrument is also responsible for controlling the coordination operation of other mechanisms. Among them, the feeding mechanism and weighing device are key components which affect whole performance. In this design, the transducer is used to control belt feeder, adjusting the feeding speed by adjustment of motor speed, and it improved the performance of feeding mechanism. On-line adjustment quantitative control algorithm based on fuzzy control is used to maximize measurement speed, adapt to packaging and weighing for a variety of materials and ration and reduce the impact on the measurement accuracy by changes of material characteristic, in the premise of ensuring measurement accuracy.The integral structure and working principle of the quantitative packing scale are elaborated in details in this paper.It focuses on the design of fuzzy controller of optimized quantitative control algorithm and quantitative packing scale control system. The component modules of control system are specified, and quantitative control algorithm based on fuzzy control is presented in this paper. The experimental results and applications show that the quantitative packing scale can adapt better to packaging and weighing for a variety of materials and a variety of ration.The measurement accuracy can be guaranteed in case of material characteristics change, with simple and convenient debugging. Comparing with the same type of quantitative packing scale, its measurement speed is improved significantly.
