The Research On Theory And Method Of Urban Greenways Route Planning In Anqing

On the one hand,the environment of city faces a severe menace, all kinds of green infrastructure construction are destroyed and partitioned bit by bit, some protections of historical and cultural heritage with significance of commemoration and education are under a unprecedented stress along with the rapid development of national economy and urbanization; on the other hand, people need more and more recreation with the development of social productive force and continuous improvement of the living standards, but in most of our city , there are not enough installation and place for recreation, the citizen could not satisfy their desires.The greenways can extend to the entire city and connect main natural landscape resources and cultural tourism resources of the city, and make these landscape resources seep to many places, for example, communities as well as commercial pedestrian streets and so on. Therefore urban greenways can greatly improve the accessibility of landscape resources and increase the linear open spaces and rich the resident's daily leisure life. So that urban greenways are very significant in many aspects, such as protecting the urban ecology and historical and cultural heritage, providing health, comfortable and natural environment for the city people,as well as increasing the tourist income,the investment opportunities and the promoting peripheral real estate value and so on.Firstly, relevant literatures on the greenway were reviewed, then the projects about greenways in and aboard were introduced and analyzed , the basic methods on greenway planning and some factors could affect the greenway planning were summarized. Then the concept of urban greenway was put forward by explaining the concepts about the greenway.In the core part of this paper, a method on urban greenway route planning was studied out. The method was based on suitability analysis and composite scoring, using the concepts of patch, corridor, network in landscape ecology and ecological protection, cultural heritage protection, leisure and recreation and so on. Suitability Evaluation System of urban greenways was set up as the base of urban greenway route planning, in which land feasibility of urban linear elements were evaluated by five aspects as the amount of connecting landscape resources, the degree of connecting community, security, the diverse functions of buildings beside the road, the road planting.In the end, for trying to set up a network of urban greenway, a district with larger density of population and abundant landscape resource in Anqing was as a example for the urban greenway route planning. The conclusions as follows:â‘ A principle was confirmed by analyzing the profile of city and the actuality of landscape in the district. The paper first confirmed the natural landscape resources and cultural tourism resources of the district in turn, then evaluated urban connected route for suitability, and finally reached a distribution of urban greenways network with"five vertical routes, five horizontal routes and two core"for the basic landscape pattern . â‘¡For the density of the network grid, the old town is largest, northern zone of the grid density is minimum; and scenic areas in central Linghu between the grid situation. On the one hand, this is due to a variety of landscapes within the scope of the study the uneven distribution of resources, on the other hand are subject to different functional divisions of urban land constraints.â‘¢This urban greenway network covered the study area on a large scale , through most of the residential land use, connected the natural landscape resources and cultural landscape resources effectively in the study area.This urban greenway could serve townsman better with the characteristics of high connectivity , high accessibility and the principles of urban greenway planning.This uban greenway route planning would be a good example for the other cities.
