Abstract/Summary:
Water is a necessary condition for economic development. With rapid economic development, Dalian region is the gateway in Northeast and an important component of the Bohai Sea economic-circle. sufficient water resource in this area is an important prerequisite for the development. Therefore, to study its water supply and demand changes are conducive to a correct understanding of the status of water resources in Dalian and the promotion of the coordinated development of economy and ecology in this region. Water system includes water supply, water demand and the balance between supply and demand .Available water refer to the amount of water supplied by engineering facilities in the years with different levels, with the different guaranteed rates, when water requirements and water supply are taken into account. Unfavorable water conditions in this area, greatly influenced by natural rainfall, its relevance is up to 0.8507. The averages annual precipitation is 550—950mm, in the south of the Golden State, is even less: 550—650 mm, So the precipitation of water does not meet the water demand in this area. The utilization rate is 57.85 percent, is a high tension. The surface water, accounting for more than 70% of the total amount of water, is the main source of water supply in this area. Groundwater is an important addition to water, water reuse and desalination to address an important means of water in some areas. In this area ,the amount of water demand is greatly affected by economic development, most impacted by regional industrial output value and the relevance of industrial output reached 0.8579. In recent years, the fluctuations in water demand has shown a upward trend, agricultural water accounts to a larger proportion of the demand. Industrial water consumption needs to increase faster. Nowadays the water supply and demand is basically in balance, but there are a great volatility, and there is an imbalance trends between supply and demand. After Learned many calculation methods at home and abroad, quota -calculation and trend-analysis are adopted. By 2010,in this area 1.6 billion cubic meters of water will be needed, but water supply capacity in this area is only 1,566,500,000 cubic meters. By 2020,water requirement in this area is to reach 2.046 billion cubic meters, while the water supply is only 1.9995 billion cubic meters, we can see that the imbalance between water supply and demand in this area will exist in a given period. Main causes of tension between supply and demand are: First, the low precipitation, uneven temporal and spatial distribution the national economic development and water resources do not match; Second ,severe overexploitation of groundwater, impropriety of water resources result in water intrusion and so on; Third, sewage and industrial wastewater into the river Water pollution caused lack of clean water. To ensure water supply in this area do not affect the sustainable economic development, firstly ,this area should actively develop water-saving agriculture, improve irrigation technology; Secondly, repair and solid the existing water conservancy ,tap the potential of existing reservoir, and actively study and explore the possibility and feasibility of inter-basin water transfer project. Thirdly, with great efforts ,to develop desalination, water reuse, rainwater recycling and other measures to open up new sources of water; Fourthly, we should strengthen public propaganda and education on water-saving awareness, get people to a deep understanding the water shortage in this area and the hazards on their own ; Fifthly ,through good regulation and management, as well as price adjustments and other measures to adjust the status of water supply and demand, to ensure steady and sustainable socio-economic development.
