Research On The Control System For SLEP Activated Furnace

Activated carbon is one kind of qualified carbon based absorptive material, which is applied in more and more areas. The SLEP furnace is the main activated equipment in the Chinese activated carbon industry, by the advantages that are favorite for the Chinese current developing property, and disadvantages as the long period for the construction and low level of automatic control etc.The main activated methods and the classification of activated equipments are introduced in the paper, followed by the comparison of the difference between the performance of the activated equipments, and the advantages vs. disadvantages. After the general introduction of the construction, composition, working principle and the operating process, the relationship between the control requirement and productivity, the quality of the final activated carbon, and the life of furnace has been set up, the main target of the intelligent fuzzy control of the SLEP was clarified, and lay out the processing foundation of the control system.In order to realize the effective control of the complicated fuzzy burning control of the SLEP, the normal control theory is not enough, and the non-analytic method is much more suitable than the analytic one. By reference to the principle of the boiler burning controller, in order to realize the non-analytic control system method based on the description of the equipment logic space, then by constructing an intelligent fuzzy burning strategy of the hierarchical structure to satisfy the complete control of the burning process of the SLEP furnace.The non-analytic properties and the system constructions of the SLEP furnace has been analyzed, the fuzzy reasoning model and the control strategy of the non-analytic control system have been introduced, and the detail explanation of the realization method and process has been given.The control method of the SLEP furnace was discussed by the introduction of the Self-tuning Fuzzy PID Control and the General Hierarchical Fuzzy Controller Based on PI Control Law, so did for the simulating results and analysis, which can prove the actual applied value of the General Hierarchical Fuzzy Controller Based on PI Control Law for the activated process of the SLEP furnace.
