| Pipeline integrity management is widely recognized and widely used now, which is a highly integrated and cyclical process. And it manages all the factors affecting the pipeline integrity with comprehensively and integrated. Through identifying and technically assessing risk factors which are constant changing in the process of pipeline operation, it formulates appropriate risk control measures to continuously improve the recognition to the adverse factors and adjusts corresponding safety maintenance activities, which will control the pipeline at a reasonable and acceptable range. Pipeline integrity management provides a systematic approach for the pipeline operating company to continually improve the security of pipeline system, reduce and prevent pipeline accidents, and assure the safe operation of pipeline system with economically and reasonably.According to the needs of vigorously promoting the pipeline integrity management of PetroChina Company Limited, in this paper, taking gas pipelines which are under the jurisdiction of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company as an object, combined with the actual situation of gas pipelines construction conditions, operating environment and safe management in Sichuan-Chongqing region, using the basic principles and technology systems of oil and gas pipeline integrity management, the integrity management system architecture, technology processes and the decision-making process of emergency response for gas pipelines was established. Then the research results obtained in this paper were used in two gas pipelines in Liangfu and Tiezhu, it is validated that the integrity management program of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company is reasonable and operational in practice.
