| Knitted Computer Aided Design(CAD) are mostly in a level of using two-dimensional mode or two-dimensional semi-emulation mode, which makes the designers get inaccurate envision about the fabric structure and appearance. Thus influences the production. Therefore, improving the design efficiency of knitted products and the development of knitted CAD on three-dimensional is imminent. The study mainly focus on the research of the realistic simulation of Single-jersey Jacquard in Weft Knitting.Firstly, the two-color and three-color weft-sided jacquard fabric have been designed and made based on requirement. The patterns were made by L_ONE Modaris according to the type of fabrics, the test weaving was performing on Computerized flat knitting machine. Then we could get the samples and relaxing them to measure data.Secondly, after the research about loop model has been summarized in and abroad and combined with the actual fabric, the 3D model of loops was build by the method of combining theoretical and actual measurement. According to the actual fabric observation and measurement data, the needle arc and settlement arc were simulated as 120 ° arc, the columns were simulated as NURBS by picking the data points. After the measurement data based on the coordinate data points Inverse get NURBS curve control points. Centerline model to obtain a smooth connection weft flat stitch. Then connected data points to get the central axis geometrical model of plain loop, and the float line is ideal for the straight line segment. Considering the algorithm complexity and the accuracy of the integrated display,3D model of loop is realized by 3D geometric modeling technology. In addition, by analysis the status of intermeshed loops and float lines, the structure model of three-color weft-sided jacquard fabric was build.Thirdly, the pattern schema was digitalization. The mathematical model of pattern schema was built. Using elements of the two dimensional array to represent the different color of the yarns and colored yarns in different shapes of the loops.Finally was the realization of the simulation. In VC++ 6.0, based on the loop centerline geometry and 3D modeling and OpenGL technology, designed and simulated algorithm, using the drawing function, color mode, the light function, material functions, blanking processing to achieve a three-dimensional simulation of single weft jacquard fabric. The program can perform flower design by man-machine interaction. Obtained simulation results can be a true representation of the coil sets of strings and floating lines. The yarn is the continuous and smooth which confirmed the correctness of the algorithm and the feasibility of the program.
