Research On Design Method For Pipe Transmission System In Deep Sea Pipe Layer

A deep sea pipelayer should be equipped with pipe transmission system. There are several foreign manufacturers in the world those have the ability to design whole pipe transmission system for different pipelayers and produce related pipe transmission equipments. But in China, only a few manufacturers have the ability to manufacture the part products among whole system those can only be used for beach or shallow water pipelaying. For the need of buiding the first deep sea pipelayer in China, this thesis gives the analysis for the technology of pipe transmission systems, and determines the main technique parameters for pipe transmission system, designs the system layout, presents the dymanic analysis for main units. Also the kinetic compatible criterion among the units in established. The developed software for the dymanic analysis of pipe transmission units can be used indeterming technical parameters for hydraulic and electric driving units. All the achivements mentioned above compose the design method for pipe transmission system in deep sea pipelayer.
