The 63-10 fault-block located in Gaoshangpu tectonic belt in Nanbao sag, north of Huanghua depression in Bohai Bay Basin. The 63-10 fault-block is a natural fault-block, featured by a small oil-bearing area, medium burial depth and oil abundance, high porosity and permeability. There confronted many problems in the reservoir development stage, such as a high rising rate of water cut, fast yielding decline, imperfect injection to production-well patterns, low levels of recovery ratio and remarkable inter-layers contradiction. At present, the reservoir is confronted with a serious water-flooding extent by as much as 90% water cut, and it's difficult to make an effective further development.Based on the characteristics of complex fault-block reservoir and the common law in the development of high water-cut stage reservoir, this article aimed to make an analysis on the reservoir structural patterns and its relative development response, and combined with the numerical reservoir simulation result, give the potential target area where the remaining oil can be accumulated. This article pointed that the remaining oil distribution concentrated in the absence of well-controlled areas, the stranded area between two water-flooding paths, the structural high position where bounded by faults and the intersection area between two fault zones; while the vertical distribution of remaining oil inclined to concentrate in the top of positive rhythmic thick oil-sandstones and the layers which are not perforated.Combined with the results yielded by the study on the remaining-oil distribution law in study area, this paper puts forward some effective and targeted development countermeasures, after considering all kinds of development problems in the study area and analysing all kinds of potential effects of the measures that can be given. We believe a better injection-production patterns nets can improve water flooding control degree by recovering old wells and setting infilling wells. At the same time, we can control high water-cut rising rate and stabilize oil production through fracturing, improving liquid producing and sealing high water-cut layers. Ultimately, we puts forward area-extent development adjustment plans to guide the next step of oil recovery, aiming to get a higher recovery rate and better development efficiency.
