With the improvement of living standards of the public life and diversity of household articles.Decoration materials, Furniture, Electromagnetic Radiation have become the important indoor pollution sources. The pollutants produced by decoration materials and furniture were the most serious among them. The quality of indoor air is related to the Masses'physical and mental health, to a great extent, it is related to the Masses'life quality. November 2001, Ministry of Construction Combined with General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of the People,s Republic of China Publishing the《Code for indoor environmental pollution control of civil building engineering》. It has been forecasted the contents of detrimental in decoration materials ,how to choose the decoration materials, construction process, the acceptance check etc. Although use the indoor decorative materials which harmful substances contained reach the standard ,the indoor detrimental will over standard when excessive amount of decoration materials.The most effective measure is total indoor air pollutant amount control for indoor decorated pollution. The total amount control is that household decoration need control each link of the decoration process, such as the choice of decorative materials, the amount of decoration materials,optimize decoration scheme,and construction technology etc.The amount of decoration materials control is one link among the total indoor air pollutant amount control. The primary research of this paper is the influence of the amount of decoration materials on indoor concentration of formaldehyde. Firstly, calculate the formulas of emission by programming and curve fitting according to the mathematical model for the formaldehyde emission from furnishing materials. Then divided the amount of decoration materials into three conditions ,calculated out by CFD separately:Firstly, under natural ventilation after indoor decoration, divided the decorative materials dosage into three conditions,which to research the influence of the amount of decoration materials on the distribution regularity of formaldehyde concentration. And calculating the time which was needed by standard reaching under normal ventilation by cubic spline interpolation.The time obtained after calculating is in different used amount. A conclusion is preliminarily obtained the more decoration materials were used and the longer time to reach the standard.Then after standard reaching under normal ventilation,we study the condition of the distribution regularity of formaldehyde when room is airtight.The indoor airflow in state of steady conduction when the room is airtight, the air natural convection caused by formaldehyde concentration difference, the formaldehyde from pollution source diffused everywhere. And when the room is airtight for 12 hours,calculating the formaldehyde concentration ,which corresponding to different the quantity of decoration materials by cubic spline interpolation. According to the《Code for indoor environmental pollution control of civil building engineering》, it is determined the amount of decoration materials.By research,we obtain the relationship between the amount of decoration materials and the indoor concentration of formaldehyde, and this has some reference value to the study on total indoor air pollutant amount control and guide the indoor decoration to avoid the indoor concentration of formaldehyde over standard.
