This article introduced the features of heavy oil, it's classification and the factors of viscosity, studied the synthesis of APG which has good emulsification. This article also introduced the reaction mechanism of each synthesis. We choose direct method(one step method) to synthetic indoor. Discussed the sugar source selection, temperature, molar ratio of sugar alcohol, catalyst and so on for the effect of synthesis results during the process of synthesis. Mainly synthetic C8-APG, C12-APG, C16-APG, this three types of APG all have good surfactant, then discussed the relationship among three APG's surface tension,chain length and DP value. Disscussed the emulsification of single APG during different concentration. Because of the emulsification of single APG can not compare with the emulsification of compiexed ones, we studied these systems: APG-OP10, APG-SLPS, APG-Cation, APG-Gender, APG-many other surfactants and the change of surface tension. We studied the emulsification on crude oil change with different concentration. Last, we discussed the complexed's temperature resistance, salt tolerance to meet the needs of different oil.
