In this paper, on the basis of molecular design, with fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether(AEO-7) as raw material, synthetic surfactants were prepared through two kinds of synthesis methods which were propyl chloride method and olefin addition method, respectively. As for the two methods, 3-chloro-2-hydroxy propyl sulfonic acid sodium and allyl glycidyl ether were applied as main material respectively to synthesis anionic-nonionic surfactant(AESO-7) which has the unique structure and good performance by sodium modification, allylation and sulfonation reaction.In the propyl chloride method, the synthesis of the target product was fully proved by analyzing the structure of the infrared spectrogram. At the same time, we also studied the influence of the synthetic reaction conditions at different temperature, time and material ratio. The most optimal synthesis conditions were found out and the experiment was made to be optimized.In the experiment,the surface tension of AESO-7 aqueous solution and other surface active agents were investigated and the effect of oil water interfacial tension under different concentrations was also investigated; The date showed that in a certain range of concentration, the interfacial tension changes with the change of content of the surfactant; When the content of the surfactant reached a certain value, the tension did not change with concentration, and the oil-water interfacial tension reached the lowest value by the mass fraction of 0.3%.The content of the active substance in the surfactant was determinated by changing the temperature to observe the temperature resistance of surfactant. In the controllable temperature range, the date show that the surfactant activity did not decrease with the increasing of temperature. The above showed a good temperature resistance; The method of adding solid sodium chloride was used to observe whether a new phase was formed in order to investigate the salt resistance of surface active agent. Results showed that AESO-7 salt tolerance was good and suitable for high temperature conditions.The best conditions for the synthesis of intermediates were studied in the experiment, which synthesis of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate by olefin addition method. The optimal synthesis conditions of the sulfonated reaction were studied under different conditions, such as temperature, time, ratio, amount of sulfonated agent, catalyst type and so on. The desired product was proved by structural analysis. At the same time, interfacial tension was influenced by concentration, temperature and salinity, and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate had a good performance of temperature and salt tolerance through the analysis of data, and the oil-water interfacial tension reached the level of 10-3; Both of the two methods used the water diversion method to investigate the emulsifying properties, and the results showed a nice performance.
