Under the current situations drive oil products can not content the need of high temperature and high salinity oil deposit,it is particularly important to develop drive oil products of resistance to high heat and high salinity.This article use binary polymerization and ternary polymerization to synthetize sulfonated polyacrylamide(SPAM)in water solution.Binary polymerization.The copolymer(sulfonated polyacrylamide)of acrylamide(AM)and 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid(AMPS)was carried out by using a complex initiation system which contains the redox initiator(ammonium persulfate and formaldehyde sulfoxylate sodium sulfite)and water-soluble azo initiator(azobisisobutylamidine hydrochloride).polymerization is described the reaction mechanism of polymerization and analyzed influence factors(monomer ratio,redox concentration,pH,the ratio of redox and azo,reaction temperature and monomer concentration)on the viscosity of polymer solution by single factor analysis;,and the results of orthogonal experiment show that the optimum process conditions is monomer ratio of 9:1,redox concentration of 0.06%,reaction temperature of 10?,the ratio of redox and azo of 1:4,monomer concentration of 10%,pH of 7.The analysis of infrared spectrum showed that sulfonic acid groups is successfully introduced into the copolymer,the molecular weight of the polymer can reach 7.37 million,the solid content is 88.19%;Temperature tolerance and salt resistance tests show that in conditions of 90?,salinity 20000mg/L,apparent viscosity of AM/AMPS copolymer is 10.2mPa·s,by contrast,apparent viscosity of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM,35 million)only is 7.2 mPa·s.meanwhile,compared with HPAM,AM/AMPS copolymer shows better shear resistance,aging test shows,in conditions of 90 ? polymer keep constant temperature 90d,AM/AMPS copolymer viscosity retention rate is 73.6%,while the viscosity retention rate of HPAM is 65.4%,it shows that AM/AMPS copolymer has good thermal stability.Ternary polymerization.Based on combination property of sulphonated polyacrylamide,This article respectively adopted to introduce the acrylic acid(AA)and sodium styrene sulfonate(SSS)to synthesize AM/AMPS/AA?AM/AMPS/SSS copolymer.suitable monomer ratio is 5:5:0.2 and 5:5:0.3.Infrared spectra test shows that feature groups of monomer successfully introduced into the copolymer,Polymer solution performance tests show that modified AM/AMPS/SSS copolymer of the introduced SSS shows better temperature tolerance and salt resistance,order of different sulfonated polymer temperature tolerance and salt resistance:AM/AMPS/SSS>AM/AMPS>AM/AMPS/AA.
