The silicone modified allyl methacrylate monomer was prepared by industrial hydrogen-containing silicone oil, and organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion was prepared by polymerizing of silicone modified allyl methacrylate monomer and other acrylic monomers. Their application performance on stone conservation were preliminary investigated. The best preparation process of methacryloyl oxygen alkyl silicone oil and organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion were obtained by single factor experiments. The permeable breathable of copolymer water emulsion coating, copolymer water emulsion on the strengthening layer and other application performance were preliminary investigated.Methacryloyl oxygen alkyl silicone oil were prepared by hydrogen-containing silicone oil and allyl methacrylate. Under no inhibitor circumstance, gelation phenomenon of reaction process was prevented by adding toluene. The best preparation process was obtained by researching on the relationship between amount of catalyst, reaction temperature, reaction time, amount of solvent, hydrogen content of hydrogen-containing silicone oil Etc. and the yield. The best preparation process: the amount of catalyst was 0.0038%mol of allyl methacrylate, the dropping time was 1h, the dropping temperature was 60~70℃, after dropping, the temperature up to 88℃, the reaction time was 2.5h. Under this process, the yield of methacryloyl oxygen alkyl silicone oil was 83.77%.Organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion were prepared by methacryloyl oxygen alkyl silicone oil and acrylate monomers. The result was that the stability of reaction process could be controlled by pre emulsion half continuous addition drops. The best preparation process was obtained by researching on the relationship between amount of initiator, amount of emulsifier, ratio of hard and soft monomer, reaction temperature, amount of silicone Etc.and mulsion properties. The best preparation process: the amount of initiator was 0.2% of the total mass of monomer, the amount of emulsifier was 0.3% of the total mass of monomer, ratio of hard and soft monomer was 34:66, the reaction temperature was 70~75℃.The application viscosity, permeability, breathable permeability and chemical reagent-resistant of organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion were detected. The result showed that the application performance improved obviously by adding silicone to chains of acrylate. The performance contrast with B72 which widely used in the morden time. The conclusion was that the permeability and breathable permeability of organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion was better than B72 when the amount of silicone was 8% and 10%, and it had an ideal permeability and breathable permeability when amount of silicone was 8%. Therefore the application viscosity, permeability, breathable permeability and chemical reagent-resistant of organic silicone– acrylate copolymerization water emulsion which prepared by hydrogen-containing silicone oil, allyl methacrylate and acrylate monomers had accomplished the purpose desired.
