The Complementary Study Of The Donghua Basic Block

Through many years'accumulation and refining, the Donghua basic block, based on scientific research and the theory of basic block, according to Chinese female body shape was established in 1998. Containing the body shape information of the late 90's, it has been widely used in scientific research and teaching. However, during 10-year's development, the human body has many changes and the Donghua basic block has failed to reflect the current characteristics of human body. So the research of amendment of the Donghua basic block was made.This research based on both theory and practice. It includes six parts in detail as follows:1. Analyze the Donghua basic block's constitutive theory and the reason for amendment.According to the analysis of the Donghua basic block's basic constitutive theory as well as the deficiencies of current clothing specification standards, from the aspect of theory and practice, the scientific references and the actual demand of the structural amendment for the Donghua basic block which aims at making it in accordance with the changes of human body shape was put forward.2. Do the amendatory exploratory experiments of the Donghua basic block, searching after the most practical and the best amendatory methods-fitting tests of sample garment. The fitting tests were done on the female students of Donghua University with bust range from 80 to 88cm. In order to ensure the accuracy of the experiment, the range difference as set at 2cm. And 160/84A was chosen in the model form experiment. The results show that the fitting tests on human body and model form have consistency in the amendatory location and trend.3. Based on the measurements of 331 unmarried young women's bust and height, the amendment experiments were made on the standard body shape 160/84. The detail amended size of every location in each case experiment was recorded and the amended structure chart was drawn in CAD.4. Research the regression relationship among the size of the basic block details. According to statistical analysis on the collected experimental data using SPSS statistical software, the frequency analysis and regression relationship of detail location was obtained based on which the revised version of the Donghua basic block was figured out. Combined with scientific statistics, this paper sums up 6 characteristics of the changes of standard Chinese female body shape and corresponding changes of the front and back pits of the neck as well as 12 other places in the Donghua basic block.5. The amended the Donghua basic block was verified theoretically and subjectively. Theoretical side:compare the coverage area of the size of the details of original version and the amended one. The conclusion is that the later is larger than the former. Subjective evaluation side:regarding the subjective evaluation, ten subjects in the former fitting test was chosen to wear both the original and amended sample, and then make subjective evaluation. The result shows that the static outer shape of the revised the Donghua basic block is much better than that of the original one.6. Perfect the model form to go along with the Donghua basic block. According to the detail size of amendment location of the amended the Donghua basic block, the model was chosen. By measuring the model and model form, the two dimensional data was obtained. Then plaster belt experiment was carried out on both the model and model form, the unfolded curved surface was deeply analyzed. Based on the two dimensional data,3D plaster model and the unfolded curved surface, the model form was amended.Based on the experimental data, the test result, the Donghua basic block was amended in this research. The amended the Donghua basic block actually reflects the current human body characteristics. The amended model form is compatible with the amended the Donghua basic block, which helps to perfect model form system which goes along with the Donghua basic block system.
