| In the field of water treatment applications, coagulation and filtration is the key to a number of wastewater treatment process. The treatment efficiency of the former directly affects the water handling effects and treatment costs in follow-up process. The latter has a wide application for a variety of water purification.Taking parts of process effluent in Wulong mine water treatment plant as the research object, this article studies on the optimization of coagulation and filtration. The main study of this paper is about the influence of coagulation effect using common inorganic and polymer coagulants on various coagulant dosage,pH,various turbidity of the raw water and so on, determining the optimum conditions of coagulants, and the synthesis optimization using the orthogonal experimental methods. At the same time, this paper studies on the removal changes of the effluent turbidities and permanganate index at different thickness of single and double-layer filter, and it also compares the different kind of filters'strengths and weaknesses. All of these provide a realistic basis for optimization of deep bed filtration.Through a large number of experiments and data obtained the main conclusions are as follows:PAC is the best coagulant, and the settling effect of flocculating constituents using the combined coagulant, PAM as a coagulant aid,is better than single coagulant. In the coagulation orthogonal experiment, this paper points the optimum scheme is PAC, PAM dosage of 1.5ml/L,0.8ml/L,namely the optimal dosing proportion is 15:8;PAM dosing time of 1.5 min;fast stirring speed of 200r/min and the slow one of 30r/min;fast stirring time of 1 min and the slow one of 15 min. In the experiment of single and double-layer filter, the double-layer filter 1 has the best integrated removal results of turbidity and permanganate index.namely the upper filter layer is activated carbon whose thickness is 400mm;the lower filter layer is quartz sand whose thickness is 400mm. |
