Chemical flooding technology is a key means of extraction of remaining oil,It is necessary to predict reservoir development, planning, dynamic analysis and effect evaluation by making oil reservoir numerical simulation before programming reservoir development. But the analysis is very difficult because of the result of reservoir numerical simulation contains large amounts of data. The visualization software provides more convenience to technicians for analysis and decision-making through simulation and operation of the numerical simulation model.This thesis makes an intensive study on the functions of the visualization software. The software of visualization is divided into two parts: two-dimensional-aided analysis module and three-dimensional graphic generation module according to the analysis of its functions.Two-dimensional-aided analysis module is responsible for reading numerical simulation file, extracting the time period and the parameter keywords form the file. And then can query desired data, the calculations of the maximum and minimum values are displayed at the same time. Also time-varying parameters of the curve can be generated .and the curve can be added, deleted, etc. Technical personnel are easy to query the data and carry out parametric analysis through the above operation.Three-dimensional model module generates visual images of the main parameters of distribution maps, Color differences in the size parameters. Parameters including temperature, pressure, oil saturation, water saturation, oil relative permeability, water relative permeability, interfacial tension, adsorption, etc., these parameter model can show the process of flooding to guide the search for the remaining oil, while achieving the movement, rotation, zooming and other operations of the three-dimensional grid model to give a full range of observation, thus to do a comprehensive understanding of the entire state of the whole flooding. Chemical flooding process can be demonstrated through real-time interactive control .Through the study of this thesis, using object-oriented technology, the software of visualization is carried out with Visual C++ and OpenGL.
