The Research On Analysis And Appraisal Digital Duplication Performance Of Xuan Paper

With the popularization of Ink-jet printing technology, more and more people favor the artware duplication, especially traditional Chinese painting artware duplication which falls short of demand. It is one of primary factors that influencing traditional Chinese painting artware duplication quality is the acceptted printing material, namely xuan paper. Therefore, appraising accurately and scientifically the performance of the xuan paper is the key of examination duplication artware quality.The main task of the research is that analyses the performance which the xuan paper should have and suitably to the ink-jet duplication. Then test the basic parameters of the ink-jet duplication xuan paper, including of quantitative, density, brightness, opacity and absorbent. The duplication quality performance parameters including of gamut, dot gain, the solid density and the dot fidelity are also tested; use the regression analysis to determine the relationship between the basic parameters of the xuan paper and the printing performance parameters. The technology of using AKD/Oxidized Starch to coat the surface of the xuan paper is studied, recommending the appropriate proportion of the AKD/Oxidized Starch and the amount of the AKD/Oxidized Starch used.This main conclusion is that opacity and absorbent of the ink-jet duplication xuan paper have big influence on the gamut and the solid density; density and absorbent of the ink-jet duplication xuan paper have big influence on the dot gain; opacity and absorbent of the ink-jet duplication xuan paper have big influence on the dot fidelity. Coating paper with the AKD /Oxidized Starch, when its proportion close to 1:2, the concentration is 1% and the coating amount is 9.85g/m2, could make the duplication performance of coated paper closer to the one of the xuan paper with good ink-jet duplication quality, enhancing the artware the duplication quality.The conclusion can be used for the criterion of ink-jet duplication xuan paper examination, improving production efficiency and economy benefit for the enterprises, promoting the development and popularization of digital xuan paper duplication technology, and providing the theory and practice basis for the digital xuan paper printing standardization.
