Entironment Issues And Countermeasures On Shanxi Small & Mideium Coal Mine

Coal industry is an important energy industry. Coal industry sustainable development is related closely to the national economy development and energy security. Since the reform and opening up, China coal industry develops rapidly and coal output continues to grow, which has played an important role in the nation economic and social development. But there are still many contradictions on coal industry structure, resources, safety, environment and transform development, etc, large coal-producing provinces like Shanxi encounter more prominent issues, and the coal industry, coal region's economy and social sustainable development are facing severe challenge.With the development of Shanxi coal industry, the associated environmental problems left over by history have not been promptly removed, and new environmental problems increased and caused conspicuous regional environmental pollution and ecological destruction, which is mainly manifested in the issues of environmental pollution such as spontaneous combustion gangue caused by coal mining, polluted water drainage in coal mining region, coal dump and coal transportation dust; ecological problems such as groundwater water loss, regional vegetation degeneration in water loss region, river running water decreases and cut off, or the earth surface subsidence caused by gob; social problems such as geological disasters, drinking water problems of people and livestock, building damage; the environmental pollution and ecological destruction prolems caused by Shanxi coal industry.This article analyzes entironment problems in Shanxi small&mideium coal mining from the aspects of gangue pollution, biodiversity impact, water resouces damage, land degradation, surface cracks, surface subsidence, and proposes the corresponding ecologica countermeasures.
